  • Age should be in between 17 to 25 years.
  • The minimum mark required in 12th is 60%.

  • For a one-year diploma course, you require the same as of B.Sc. in Nautical Science.

For B.Tech in Marine Engineering

  1. 12th with the Science stream and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  2. For second-year admission ( lateral entry ), diploma in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 60% from a recognized university.

  • B.Tech. in Mechanical or Marine Engineering with a minimum of 60% from a recognized university.
  • Age should not be more than 27 years. In few universities, even 28 years of age might work.
  • Sound health with proper eye-sight but glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 may be allowed.
